I have email from another supplier but am unable to send email when I am at home

To be able to send email regardless of which supplier you are connected to, you should contact the supplier of the email address and see if they offer the possibility of authenticating outgoing email.

We have blocked outgoing email on port 25 for all other email servers than our own as part of our efforts to fight spam. Further information on the reason for this is available at IKT-Norge.
