If the light on the front of the decoder is not illuminated, the fault is probably either in the decoder or the electricity cable.
Check that the electricity cable is properly plugged in, both to the wall socket and the decoder. If you have a personal video recorder (PVR), check that the switch on the back side is in the "on" position.
It's also worth checking that the wall socket is working. You can do this by plugging in a lamp and switching it on.
If you have several decoders of the same type, you can try a different electricity supply.
Visit our shop or one of our customer reception areas to exchange the defective item.
Check that the channels are not hidden. This is done via Services, Settings and Hide channels on your remote control. Also try unplugging the decoder for a few seconds.
If this didn't help please contact our customer service centre and we will help you with the issue.
Try restarting the decoder by unplugging it and then plugging it in again. You can also check if there are too many saved TV series recordings. Remove old series that you are finished with. If this didn't help then the fault may be at Lyse. Please contact our customer service centre and we will help you with the issue.
Check that the subtitle settings are correct. This is done via “Services”, “Settings” and “Languages”. Please be aware that some channels and programmes do not have subtitles, it can therefore be a good idea to check other channels or programmes that you know have subtitles and see if they have the same problem. If the problem persists please contact the customer service centre for further troubleshooting.
The teletext function doesn't work on the TV when using the HDMI cable. If you are using the HDMI cable then you have to use the remote control for the decoder when using teletext.
